You do not need to use the services of a Claims Management Company like Money Management Team. You can contact the lender directly for free and if they are no longer trading, you can contact the Financial Services Compensation Scheme providing it falls within their remit. The Financial Ombudsman Service can be contacted free of charge, if you have approached your lender first and wish for them to review your case. You also have the right to seek further advice from other legal firms or consumer organisations, subject to any time limits within which a claim must be made

Money Management Team Latest Update

Money Management Team have taken the decision to apply for cancellation of our Claims Management Permissions.

Initially, nothing will change, but from 24th June 2021, we will not be regulated by the FCA for Claims Management Activity. Until then, if you have an open case with us, we will continue to represent you as you have instructed. We will liaise with your lender and do all we can to get a decision for you prior to 24th June. So you do not need to do anything, we anticipate getting a decision for you before the end of June 2021.

We will be writing to all clients who have open cases with us before the 23rd April, setting out what options are available. If you have received an offer and have fees to pay to us, we will still be able to collect your fees.
