Our Fees and Charges, Service and Fee Agreements and Cancellation Rights


If you enter into an Agreement with us, there will be fees involved.

We review and assess our fee structures on a regular basis to ensure customers receive value for money for the services we provide. Please find our Claims Service and Fee Agreement below –

Free PPI Check Service & Fee Agreement


Summary of Key Information

Other Methods & Services - You can do the claim directly yourself to the lender for no charge. You can also approach the Financial Ombudsman Service and Financial Services Compensation Scheme for free if you wish for them to review your case, you have approached your lender first, and it falls within their remit. In the instance MMT refers your case to FOS/FSCS we will not charge any extra for such services.

PPI Check

This free no obligations service aims to determine your PPI status with your lender for all products that you advise, we will work on your behalf and liaise with the lender where needed.

If the status is no PPI, you will be advised and we close the case at no charge.

Where PPI is or may be present, we will advise you and look to offer you our PPI CLAIM service. If you accept this offer, the terms of the PPI CLAIM service will apply. If you decline, we will close the matter at no charge.

PPI Claim

Where there is a reasonable belief that PPI is or may have been present, this service may be offered and we will aim to pursue the claim on your behalf if you authorise us to do so.

We aim to determine whether PPI was mis-sold on any and all products taken with the lender in question by presenting a formal complaint to be investigated.

We will liaise with you to gather appropriate information relating to your matter(s) before presenting a case.

If there is no PPI, you will be advised and we close the case at no charge.

Your Input

  • Provide accurate information in relation to the lenders you’ve held financial agreements with.
  • Read our Service & Fee agreement in full and keep it for your records.
  • Once happy to instruct us to work on your behalf, to sign and return the Letter of Authority to us.
  • Supply us with all relevant documentation to pursue or evidence your claim e.g. copy loan agreements, running credit agreements, correspondence from the lender or insurance provider.
  • Tell us if you move house or change contact details so the information we hold for you is accurate.
  • Return to us with any information that we need from you.
  • Tell us if the lender contacts you directly, including advising us if you receive an offer directly or if payment is sent to you by the lender direct.
  • Allow us to deduct our fee before forwarding the balance to you if a lender makes the payment direct to us.

Cancellation

Your Cancellation Rights - You may cancel the PPI Check at any time for no charge. The PPI Claim can be cancelled within 14 days of instructing us to complete the PPI Claim. If you wish to cancel outside of this time and an offer has been made our fees will apply. Timescales

  • May vary from time to time and per matter dependant on a number of factors, for example, Further Information requests or lender resource
  • PPI CHECK: On average we receive a response to the PPI Check within 6 weeks of issue to the lender.
  • PPI CLAIM: Our average PPI claim is 8-16 weeks from the date of the lender’s acknowledgement to a decision being made.
  • Where the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is used, time frames may vary considerably.
  • We will aim to update you within 10 x days of receiving a lender update, and where no update is available a minimum of every 6 months. You can contact us at any time to request an update.

Our Fees

PPI Check - There is no charge for the PPI Check process.

PPI Claim - Our fees are 20% + vat a total of 24% of the total redress offered by the lender of any successful mis sell enquiry or claim. If the refund goes towards your outstanding debt our fees will still apply. If the PPI Claim is unsuccessful you will not be charged. MMT Fee illustrations below: not an estimate of amount likely to be recovered from the lender.
